Ana Celia de Armas Caso was born in Cuba and was raised to Spanish parents. She started her career as a Cuban actress in Una rosea de Francia, a romantic drama. The actress moved from Cuba to Madrid in Spain in the year 18 and starred for a period of six years, between 2007 until 2010, in the popular television show El Internado. She landed English-speaking roles after moving from Madrid to Los Angeles. These included the film of horror War Dogs (2015), as well as Psychological thriller Knock Knock (2017). In the 2017 science-fiction film Blade Runner, she portrayed Joi, a holographic AI project Joi. Ana de Armas, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez dated prior to the actor's marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Affleck and Ana de Armas dated for about a year, following the time they worked as a couple in Deep Water. Ana de Armas received an increasing amount of attention during the time she dated Ben Affleck. However it was not the attention that someone would like.
